QRussia joined QWorld!

QRussia joined QWorld!

QCousins, QWorld, Workshop
We welcome QRussia to QWorld as the 6th Quantum Cousin. The entangling event was held on November 29-30 and December 1 in Kazan, Tatarstan, Russia. During the three days, the participants worked with our introductory material Bronze on quantum computing and quantum programming and they wrote quantum programs by using Qiskit library. We handed out 25 diplomas. QRussia team was formed by Ilnaz Mannapov, Lilia Safina, Aliya Khadieva, and Kamil Khadiev. The visiting team was from QLatvia and formed by Maksims Dimitriejvs, Laine Strankale, and Viktorija Leimane. The event was supported by Unitary Fund, IT Park, Math Center of Kazan Federal University, Provectus, and Leader ID. Quantum Cousins We are now six quantum cousins. Please check our Entangling QCousins project if you are interested in being a QCousin!

The first workshop in Lithuania

The first workshop in Lithuania

QCousins, Workshop
We are happy to inform that in December we will have the first time workshop on the basics of Quantum programming in Lithuania, in Vilnius (December 14-15). The workshops will take place thanks to the Vilnius Girls Code invitation. During the workshop, we will study our introductory material Bronze and will learn the basics of quantum computing and how to write quantum programs that can be run on simulators and quantum devices. In the next step, we will implement quantum protocols and algorithms (such as superdense coding, quantum teleportation, and Grover’s search) and check the different aspects of the power of quantum computation. The workshop is led by Dr. Maksims Dimitrijevs (QLatvia). This workshop is supported by Tesonet, Faculty of Computing and Unitary Fund.
