QWorld is a non-profit project that globally brings quantum computing researchers & enthusiasts together. Through education and skill development opportunities, QWorld is training the next generation of quantum scientists. QWorld is managed by QWorld Association, a non-profit organisation.
Our Approach
Our main goal is to popularize quantum technologies and software. We are looking for enthusiastic individuals, groups, institutions, organizations, and companies to work and operate together to develop open quantum ecosystem.
We conduct our activities within five departments.
QCousins implements one of the critical strategies of QWorld is to establish active and collaborative local quantum groups. These groups organize events in their regions, often communicating in the native language.
QEducation is tasked with developing tutorials and designing hands-on workshops based on them. In the future, we would like to establish academic curriculums and train educators. QResearch’s goal is to bring together researchers to foster collaboration and match students with mentors to develop a short-term research project. QWorld is also committed to increasing women’s representation in the STEM field, and for this reason, QWomen was created. Finally, the QJunior program is focused on high school students.
