QPhilippines is the QCousin of QWorld representing the Philippines. It was formed to extend QWorld’s structured learning pathways, mentorship programs, and community-driven approach to learners, educators, researchers, and professionals in the Philippines interested in quantum computing and quantum technologies.
Our Vision
QPhilippines envisions itself as the leading grassroots organization for accessible, inclusive, and community-driven quantum education in the Philippines — empowering students, educators, researchers, and professionals from all backgrounds to participate meaningfully in
the global quantum ecosystem.
Our Mission
In line with QWorld’s mission of open-access education, accessibility, and community-driven growth in quantum technologies, QPhilippines commits itself to:
- Providing structured, accessible quantum computing education to Filipino learners, regardless of prior technical background;
- Building a sustainable pipeline of quantum-literate mentors, instructors, and community leaders through QWorld’s QCousins learning framework; and
- Fostering collaboration among academic institutions, research groups, and partner organizations to strengthen the Philippine quantum ecosystem, while remaining an independent, community-driven QCousin of QWorld.
What We Do
Educational Workshops
QPhilippines organizes hands-on quantum programming workshops based on QWorld’s standardized curriculum. These include introductory coding modules (QPrep and QBronze), algorithmic exercises, and exploration of real quantum hardware through platforms like Qiskit.
Seminars, Meetups & Community Events
We host seminars, discussions, reading groups, and meetups connecting learners with experts from academia and industry in the Philippines. Our activities follow QWorld’s open, collaborative, and community-driven philosophy.
Join Us
QPhilippines is open to everyone, no matter your background or level of experience with quantum computing. Whether you’re just starting your quantum journey or already have experience in the field, our community is a place to learn, exchange ideas, collaborate on projects, organize events, and connect with others who share your interests.
