QKenya was established in 2026 by QuantumKE as the Kenyan chapter of the global QWorld community. The hub brings together students, educators, researchers, engineers, software developers, and technology enthusiasts to expand quantum literacy and make quantum education more accessible across Kenya. 

Through workshops, tutorials, study groups, certification-aligned training, webinars, and community events, QKenya provides learners with opportunities to develop both foundational and practical skills in quantum computing and related technologies. By collaborating with universities, industry partners, and the wider global quantum community, the hub seeks to create inclusive pathways into the quantum ecosystem. 

Aligned with QuantumKE’s vision of positioning Kenya as a leading contributor to the global quantum future and its mission of building awareness, capacity, and innovation in quantum technologies, QKenya serves as a platform for nurturing local talent, fostering collaboration, and empowering the next generation of quantum leaders in Kenya and across Africa.
