QBrasil has the mission of popularizing quantum technologies and software through education and skills development.

Our ambitions:

• Empower the Brazilian population scientifically.
• Increase Brazil’s presence in the global conversations on quantum.
• Promote Quantum Information and Quantum Technologies as a tool for social good.
• Promote open and free code as the dominant paradigm in education.

Our team, composed of researchers and students in Physics, is committed to the dissemination of scientific knowledge and the development of skills in quantum computing.

In addition to promoting the understanding of this emerging area, we seek to build a network of people interested in quantum education and technology, with the goal of recruiting collaborators as this technology becomes essential for the future.

QBronze 148 is our first event! We had:

• +300 applicants
• 17% women
• Applicants from Brazil, Portugal, Argentina, Peru, Canada and others!
