In July 2023, QSouthAfrica was founded by a number of active members largely from Stellenbosch’s Quantum Research Group, as well as from the UKZN and Wits. QSouthAfrica is a pioneering community dedicated to advancing quantum computing in South Africa. We have been actively engaged in this transformative field even before our official establishment. Our mission is to raise awareness, educate, and foster collaboration among individuals interested in quantum technologies.
Through educational resources, workshops, talks, and webinars, we provide accessible opportunities for professionals and enthusiasts to learn about quantum computing and its applications in various sectors. We believe in the power of connections and actively encourage networking and collaboration among quantum enthusiasts, researchers, and industry professionals.
As part of the global QWorld network, we work to make quantum knowledge accessible to all curious individuals in South Africa.
