QNigeria was founded November 2021 as a community of students, physicists, engineers, software developers, researchers and professionals from various fields collaborating to popularize quantum technologies in Nigeria. We intend to create awareness about quantum computing and its applications, connect quantum enthusiasts, and provide tutorials for people interested in the field. Our activity will include events such as webinars, talks, workshops and hackathons. We will also ensure that quantum computing is integrated into courses taken at higher level institutions.

Our mission is to bring together experts with diverse skills to share knowledge and collaborate on quantum projects; we also aim to connect these experts with institutions and organisations that can benefit from the technology.
