QHongKong was founded by researchers and educators from leading universities in Hong Kong (HKUST, HKU) and beyond. Our goal is to connect experts, students, and enthusiasts in quantum science across Hong Kong, while integrating them into the broader QWorld community. Through workshops, global programs, and exchanges with other QCousins, we aim to promote awareness of quantum technologies and support their integration into academic curricula and public education. 

As a Special Administrative Region of China, Hong Kong serves as a unique bridge linking local talent with global collaboration. Our mission is to contribute to Hong Kong’s role as a quantum hub of talent and innovation within the Guangdong–Hong Kong–Macao Greater Bay Area, driving regional development while amplifying our global impact.
