QPrep4 | Quantum Computing and Programming Workshop | May 21-22, 2022
We are happy to announce our QPrep workshop organized by QIndia. Join us in the elementary level workshop “Quantum Computing and Programming” focusing on Python programming and linear algebra. This workshop is intended as a preparation before joining QBronze workshop. This quantum workshop in India is part of QIndia’s Summer of Kyu series and QWorld’s QSpring2022 project!
We are inviting everyone wishing to learn more about quantum computers. During the workshop, we will use the “before-workshop” section of the Bronze-Qiskit tutorial. The educational materials are in English.
Participants are expected to follow the workshop materials, join the lectures and complete the material on their own. The workshop will be held during 2 days with approximately 3 hours of training.
We will share homework via QWorld Canvas (five homework, in total 100 pts). The participants who complete them all successfully (at least 50% from each) with at least 70 pts in total, will earn their diplomas!
The participants are expected to work individually to complete two main sections: Python Review and and Basic Math.

The material is a collection of Jupyter notebooks, and each notebook has many programming tasks to provide hands-on experiences. The main goal is to provide the necessary background needed to participate in the first level QBronze workshop. We use python to solve the tasks and Qiskit library to code quantum programs. The participants should know at least one programming language, and they should make themselves familiar with Python before the workshop if they do not know Python.
