Have you heard about quantum computers and want to learn more? Are you actively working in that field or in related fields? Do you want to connect with other quantum enthusiasts across Ireland (and maybe abroad)?

QIreland is here to help! We are a group of people based in Ireland (or even in another countries) coming from all walks of life: we are students, academics, researchers and professionals.

Our goal is to popularise quantum technologies and quantum computing across Ireland. That is why we organize events aimed at achieving that. For instance, our first official event featured an online workshop using QWorld’s introductory material QBronze to introduce the basic ideas of quantum computing; we had more than 200 registered participants with different backgrounds. We plan to hold more events in the future such as online seminars, talks, workshops, etc. We also collaborate with events organised by QWorld.

Keep up to date with our events in social media!

“Nature isn’t classical, dam***, and if you want to make a simulation of nature, you’d better make it quantum mechanical, and by golly it’s a wonderful problem, because it doesn’t look so easy”
Richard Feynman (1982)
